Notes : This picture was taken at a local lawn and garden shop. I had heard about Robert Maplethorpe's success with an exhibition entitled, "Orchids". I at the time was so naive as to think he was talking about the flowers. I figured I'd try to copy his idea, and try to capture these distinctive flowers in a unique way too.
It was several years later that I finally learn that his "Orchids" collection was just a series of male nudes. What a dissappointment.
